STUDENT WEEKLY CLASSES – Book for each term in advance

Sew at your weekly 1.5 hour class, with other students of similar ability. You will develop and advance your sewing skills with each new project under the guidance of Gail Harris, who is also a Secondary School Teacher. We focus on recycling fabrics and garments to create wonderful new products. We also work with lovely new fabrics of your choice, when you are ready to make special pieces of clothing. You will be required to purchase any new fabrics for clothing, however all other fabrics and materials are supplied. Each term we do a recycled project, a set project that will advance your sewing skills, plus a project of your choice.

Age: Students 9 years and above. Beginners welcome.

Cost: $360 per term. This includes 8 classes and up to 2 ‘make-up’ classes if students are unable to attend their weekly class. Afternoon tea also provided.

Saturday classes have six sessions in a term, as each class is two hours long.

NOTE: Machines and most materials provided. Up to 6 students per class.

STUDENT HOLIDAY SEWING WORKSHOPS – Book in for one or more of these 2.5 hour classes

Attend fun, casual sewing classes in the school holidays. No matter whether you are a beginner or a capable sewer, you will complete a project in your class.

Gather a group of friends and book in together for a morning or afternoon of sewing. Or, just come along by yourself and make new sewing friends! You can choose from my prepared projects that will suit your sewing capabilities. You will definitely learn to use the sewing machine in your first lesson. If you are wanting to make a day of it and attend both the morning and afternoon sessions, then just bring along your lunch and we can eat lunch together!

Age 7 – 18 years

Duration 2.5 hours

Cost $70 – includes All materials plus snacks.

WEEKEND SEWING WORKSHOPS

Held on Saturdays and Sundays: 1.00pm to 4.00pm

SEWING WORKSHOP – Book for a 3 hour workshop

Learn and develop your sewing skills and complete a project on the day. All levels welcome, with a variety of projects available for everyone This is a great opportunity to get a good start on your sewing journey or continue on developing your skills. Come along with a friend, so that you have a ‘sewing buddy’ to complete projects at home!

Age  Student sand Adults

Duration 3 hours

Cost $95 – Includes all materials plus morning or afternoon tea.

NOTE Machines provided. Up to 6 people per class

PRIVATE CLASSES

Available to both students and adults.

PRIVATE CLASSES – Book for a convenient 1.5 hour time slot

Carve out some time for yourself in the week and book into this unique experience of a Private Sewing class. We will tailor the class to suit your level of experience and your desired outcome for this valuable session.

Use my sewing machines or bring along your own machine so that you can confidently complete projects at home. I will give you a project to complete during this private class to further develop your sewing skills. Alternatively, I can assist you with any of your own projects during this time.

Age 8 years and above.

Cost $125

Duration 1.5 hours

NOTE Materials provided and machines available.

SEMI – PRIVATE CLASSES

Available to both students and adults.

Two per class.

SEMI – PRIVATE CLASSES – Book for a convenient 1.5 hour time slot

Come along with a friend or family member to begin your sewing experience or further develop your skills.

Bring along your own machine and learn how to use it, so that you can complete projects at home. I will also give you a small project to complete during this class. Alternatively, you can use our machines and I can assist you with any of your own projects or set you a project that will further develop and your sewing skills.

Age 8 years and above.

Cost $75 per person.

SEWING PARTIES FOR STUDENTS OR ADULTS – Book for a 3 hour class

Celebrate a birthday or just organise a get together with a difference.

Gather a group of 6 to 8 friends and enjoy making something special for yourself or a unique gift for someone else.

The project will be determined according to age and abilities.

Materials will be supplied, though you are able to bring along any of your own materials if you have a special project in mind.

Duration 3 hours

Cost $70 per person.

REPAIR AND ALTERATION WORKSHOPS

Held on one Friday evening per month – 6.00pm to 9pm

Dates advertised on Instagram.

Bookings essential.

REPAIR AND ALTERATION WORKSHOP – Book for a 3 hour workshop

Bring along your garments that need hems taken up, seams taken in, buttons sewn on, zips replaced or holes mended. I will help you with your repair jobs and you can leave with garments that are ready to shine again!

Duration 3 hours

Cost $95 – includes mending materials.

Bring your own zip if specific size and colour required

NOTE Machines and sewing materials provided. Up to 6 participants per class.
